Project Manager
LOCATION REMOTE with Occasional travel to Grand Rapids, MI
DURATION 4+ Months CONTRACT TO HIRE
INTERVIEW TYPE 2 Rounds
3-5 Must Haves (need to be highlighted in sizzle & present on resume)
Strong IT Project Management experience (5-8 years minimum) managing cross-functional IT projects
Retail, ecommerce, omnichannel fulfillment experience strongly preferred
Strong waterfall and agile experience
Must have exceptional communication skills with proven experience communicating at high levels (executive) within organizations
Qualifications
·5–8 years of experience managing cross-functional IT projects through planning, implementation, launch, and stabilization.
· Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple delivery teams and business stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.
· Retail, e-commerce, omnichannel fulfillment, or store-technology experience strongly preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods, including environments where teams use different approaches.
· Proven ability to manage integrated schedules, dependencies, RAID logs, scope changes, action items, and launch-readiness activities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise, executive-ready status reports and translate detailed team updates into a clear project-level view.
· Effective facilitation, organization, negotiation, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority.
· Experience using Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint for project planning, collaboration, analysis, and stakeholder communication.
· Experience using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub to monitor delivery progress, milestones, dependencies, and work-item status.
· Experience using Power BI to develop or interpret project dashboards and delivery reporting.
· PMP certification preferred.
