Backend Developer (Golang) – Fremont, CA (Onsite 5 Days/Week)

Location: Fremont, CA (Local Bay Area Candidates Only)
Duration: 6–12 Months Contract

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 6+ Years of strong hands-on Experience as a Golang developer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, distributed backend systems. This is a 100% onsite role in Fremont, CA, so local Bay Area candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, distributed backend systems using Golang
Implement REST APIs and gRPC services
Work with Distributed Systems and Microservices architecture
Utilize Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB for data storage and processing
Optimize system performance and ensure fault tolerance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to system design, data structures, and algorithms
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments

Requirements

6–8+ years of backend software development experience
Strong proficiency in Golang
Hands-on experience with Distributed Systems & Microservices
Experience with REST APIs and gRPC
Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB
Strong System Design, Data Structures & Algorithms skills
Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant backend services

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in C#, Java, or C++
Experience with Elasticsearch and ClickHouse
Knowledge of Python
Experience optimizing high-throughput distributed systems
