Job Description:
  • The Finance Project Manager leads and coordinates regulatory, business, internal finance, and digital transformation projects within the finance function.
  • This role ensures finance reporting and systems align with regulatory requirements and evolving business needs.
  • The position focuses on automation, process optimization, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and timely project delivery while supporting data analysis and remediation initiatives.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Good knowledge of project management processes and workflows.
  • Experience in business and system analysis, including gathering requirements and creating system specifications within the financial services industry.
  • Good knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and summarize findings effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead regulatory projects to adapt finance reporting to meet head office regulatory requirements.
  • Manage business projects to adapt finance systems for new products or evolving business needs.
  • Coordinate internal finance projects to achieve organizational objectives and respond to internal requests.
  • Drive digital initiatives focused on automation and streamlining of finance processes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Gather and report project costing, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop detailed project plans including documentation, testing protocols, execution steps, timelines, budgets, and status metrics.
  • Collect and analyze user requirements and business processes.
  • Investigate data anomalies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Build remediation plans and support informed decision-making by providing key data insights to leadership.
Should Have:
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • PMP and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.
