Role: Oracle SCM Consultant
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: 100% remote
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead day-to-day functional ownership of Oracle Purchasing and Inventory modules
Analyze business needs, define requirements, and recommend solutions aligned with Oracle best practices
Act as functional lead/project lead for enhancements, releases, and smaller-scale initiatives
Drive Oracle quarterly release management, including:
Impact assessments
Feature evaluation
Testing strategy and execution
Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and oversee regression testing
Troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and implement system enhancements
Maintain and update functional and process documentation
Lead discussions around process optimization and system improvements
Mentor junior team members and provide subject matter expertise
Coordinate environment refreshes and ensure readiness for deployments
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of Oracle Cloud ERP experience, with strong focus on SCM
Deep functional expertise in at least two Oracle Cloud modules, such as:
Supply Chain / Inventory / Procurement (preferred)
Finance, Projects, AP/AR, GL, Assets, Expenses, or Contracts
Proven experience leading workstreams or small teams (3–5 people)
Strong understanding of cross-functional integrations (HCM, Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll)
Experience driving business process improvements and stakeholder collaboration
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar incident management tools
Solid project management capabilities (planning, execution, stakeholder communication)
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders

Potential drawbacks / considerations:
Candidates with only support-level (vs. lead/ownership) experience will fall lower in range
Limited exposure to quarterly release management can be a gap
Purely functional (no cross-functional integration knowledge) candidates may be less competitive
