Job Title: SAP Supply Chain Lead Consultant

Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned supply chain expert to lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SCM modules, including MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) . In this client-facing leadership role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, driving end-to-end S/4HANA implementations from blueprint to go-live. You will act as the trusted advisor to clients, leveraging AI-driven insights and best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
Lead workshops with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Architect and configure SAP MM, PP, and EWM processes to meet client needs, including:
MM: Procurement, inventory management, valuation, invoice verification, and material requirements planning (MRP).
PP: Production planning, discrete and process manufacturing, capacity planning, and repetitive manufacturing.
EWM: Inbound/outbound processes, warehouse structure design, labor management, yard management, and handling unit management.
Define end-to-end supply chain processes that seamlessly integrate procurement, production, and warehouse operations.
Project Leadership & Delivery
Drive full-life cycle S/4HANA implementations from scoping and blueprinting through configuration, testing, and go-live.
Manage project teams, coordinate tasks, conduct fit-gap analysis, and ensure successful delivery of project phases.
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , defect resolution, and cutover activities, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to functional and technical team members.
Process Optimization & Innovation
Analyze business requirements to identify opportunities for supply chain efficiency gains, cost reduction, and productivity improvements.
Leverage data and analytics to optimize inventory levels, streamline procurement processes, and enhance warehouse operations.
AI Implementation: Lead the adoption of AI technologies for enhanced demand planning, warehouse management, logistics optimization, and predictive analytics.
Stay current with SAP roadmaps and emerging supply chain trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.
System Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Manage the design and delivery of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) in collaboration with technical teams.
Ensure seamless integration between supply chain modules (MM, PP, EWM) and other SAP modules (SD, QM, TM, FICO).
Define integration strategies with external systems, including supplier portals, logistics providers, and material handling equipment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 8 12+ years of SAP consulting experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, with a minimum of 3+ years specifically focused on SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Module Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on configuration experience across:
SAP MM (Materials Management): Procurement, inventory, valuation, MRP.
SAP PP (Production Planning): Discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing, capacity planning.
SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management): Warehouse processes, labor management, yard management.
Project Track Record: Proven history of delivering 2-3+ full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in supply chain roles.
Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of cross-functional integration points (SD, QM, TM, FICO) and RICEFW management.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications, CDS views, and analytics for supply chain reporting.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
SAP Certifications in S/4HANA for Supply Chain (MM, PP, or EWM).
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud for supply chain planning and reporting.
Knowledge of AI/ML applications in supply chain, such as demand sensing, predictive maintenance, or intelligent warehouse operations.
Experience in specific industries such as Consumer Products, Retail, Industrial Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or Automotive.
