Business Analyst ( Oil and Gas)

Introduction:

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing data flow, workflow, and data security within the Oil and Gas industry. This is a short term contract opportunity with Houston client. Consultant needs to be onsite 5 days a week and needs to have Oil and gas exposure. Ability to work with snowflake, SCADA and other data sources to streamline analytical processes is a huge plus. Responsibilities:

• Understanding data structure, framework, and pipeline setup
• Expertise in data flow mapping and execution of production engineering workflows
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting data availability and quality issues
• Experience in data flow management in Well View & SCADA solutions
• ETL experience with Snowflake integration
• Development of tools for Wells Intervention & Production Operations
• Coordination of data security and solution requirements
• Project tracking and milestone advancement
• Development of PowerBI dashboard for metrics visualization
• Collaboration with team members to achieve goals
