Position: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) Engineer
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Duration: 5 years
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing endpoint administration, operating system deployment, software packaging, patch management, and application deployment for Windows-based systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with software updates, endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint lifecycle management.
- Experience deploying and maintaining Windows images, task sequences, and automated deployment solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot MECM client health issues, deployment failures, application installation issues, and software distribution problems.
- Experience creating collections, deployment packages, configuration baselines, compliance settings, and endpoint management policies.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation for endpoint administration and reporting.
- Experience integrating MECM with enterprise security tools and supporting compliance initiatives aligned with NIST, FISMA, DISA STIGs, and organizational cybersecurity standards.
- Experience generating reports, dashboards, and metrics related to endpoint compliance, software inventory, and patch management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.
Education, Certification, and Clearance Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
· Preferred certifications:
o Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
o Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
o CompTIA Security+
o Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
· Public Trust / Suitability or higher clearance preferred.
