Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking an Infrastructure Management-VDI Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities - Implement and sustain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms to support enterprise user environments.
- Manage desktop pools, provisioning workflows, and access control configurations.
- Perform system performance optimization and patch management activities.
- Monitor platform health and ensure backup and recovery readiness.
- Coordinate with identity, hosting, and network teams to maintain secure and scalable VDI services.
- Conduct troubleshooting and performance tuning to ensure reliable VDI operations.
- Support disaster recovery planning and maintain system documentation.
- Align VDI services with DoD cybersecurity requirements and operational standards.
Required Skills Required Qualifications - Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure administration within DoD or Federal IT environments.
- Proven experience with VDI platforms supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience in managing virtualized environment configurations and performance optimizations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability of services.
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Clearance: Active Secret preferred
- Experience with DoD network operations and cybersecurity practices.
- Familiarity with ARNG mission requirements and operational standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in IT infrastructure contexts.
- Experience in developing and maintaining system documentation and change management processes.
