Job Title: Cloud Application Support & Technology Consultant

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week (Mandatory)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Experience Required: 6–8 Years

Candidate Preferences

  • Candidates with previous experience at Capital One, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae are preferred.

  • Preferred project experience: 1–4 years. Candidates with more than 6 months of relevant project experience can also be considered.

  • Preferred work authorization: L2 , and s.

  • H1B candidates may be considered for exceptionally strong profiles.

  • Face-to-face interview is mandatory at one of the specified work locations.

  • Candidates must be willing to work onsite 3 days per week.

 

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Application Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, application troubleshooting, database support, and production operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise applications, troubleshooting cloud environments, managing production incidents, and resolving application and data-related issues.

Required Skills & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and ECS.

  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.

  • Experience with data validation, troubleshooting missing or incorrect data, refresh failures, and data inconsistencies.

  • Operational support experience with Python and Java applications.

  • Experience analyzing application logs, configuration files, errors, and API responses.

  • Strong REST API and application integration troubleshooting experience.

  • Customer-facing production and application support experience.

  • Experience with Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), monitoring, and operational documentation.

  • Working knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, DevOps, and AWS-native deployment pipelines.

  • Understanding of cloud security, secure data handling, and non-production data management.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and issue-management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Test data provisioning, data refresh, environment readiness, and validation.

  • Data masking, anonymization, or synthetic data experience.

  • Docker and Kubernetes.

  • ServiceNow, Jira, and ITIL.
