Candidate Submission Criteria
- Preferred candidates with prior experience at Capital One, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae.
- Preferred project experience: 1–4 years; candidates with more than 6 months of relevant project experience can also be considered.
- Preferred work authorization: L2 , and s. H1B candidates may be considered for exceptional profiles.
- Face-to-face interview is mandatory at one of the specified work locations.
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite 3 days per week.
Job Description We are looking for an experienced Appian & RPA Technology Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Appian BPM application development, robotic process automation (Blue Prism), SQL database operations, system integrations, and AWS cloud services to design, build, deploy, and support enterprise automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Appian Application Development, including Process Models, Complex Workflows, SAIL Interfaces, Records, and Reports.
- Hands-on development experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools including Appian RPA and Blue Prism.
- Proficient in SQL query development, relational database integration, and performance optimization.
- Deep hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP API web services for enterprise system integrations.
- Experience with core AWS services, including EC2, EBS, RDS, and S3.
- End-to-end SDLC ownership covering application design, development, unit testing, release deployment, and L3 production support.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills across process flows, integration failures, and environment bottlenecks.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using GitLab for version control and CI/CD code promotion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with business leads, solution architects, and cross-functional technical teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Appian Certified Senior Developer or Appian Lead Developer certification.
- Blue Prism Certification (Developer or Professional Developer).
- AWS Cloud Certification (Solutions Architect or Developer Associate).
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Direct industry experience within Financial Services, Banking, or the Mortgage domain.
- Experience architecting and scaling enterprise-grade workflow automation platforms.
- Experience leading or mentoring distributed engineering and delivery teams.
