Position: Epicor Kinetic ERP Business Analyst Manufacturing Operations

Job Summary
The Epicor Kinetic ERP Business Analyst (Manufacturing) will play a critical role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives. This position requires a strong blend of functional expertise, technical capability, and analytical thinking to ensure ERP solutions effectively support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate across business and IT teams to optimize processes, enhance system performance, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Objectives
- Serve as the functional architect for the Epicor Kinetic environment, ensuring seamless, automated, and efficient end-to-end operations.
- Optimize core manufacturing lifecycle processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Plan-to-Produce.
- Partner with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to translate operational challenges into scalable ERP solutions.
- Utilize Epicor DMT and SQL for data migrations, system upgrades, and integrations.
- Act as a bridge between shop floor operations, warehouse teams, and IT.
- Ensure data accuracy and system reliability across inventory, warehouse management, and production scheduling.
- Develop user-friendly documentation and deliver effective training to end users.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business units to gather, document, and refine requirements.
- Analyze current processes and recommend improvements.
System Design & Implementation
- Design, build, and implement ERP solutions aligned with business needs.
- Configure Epicor Kinetic to support manufacturing operations.
- Develop or modify applications using appropriate tools and technologies when needed.
- Lead system upgrades, integrations, and ERP configurations.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system defects.
Documentation
- Create and maintain business requirements, functional/technical design documents, and user guides.
- Track and document system changes and updates.
Technical Support
- Provide ongoing support to end-users and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with IT teams to maintain system performance and uptime.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Recommend and implement process improvements leveraging Epicor capabilities.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- Epicor Kinetic Expertise: Proven experience configuring and supporting Epicor Kinetic ERP in manufacturing environments.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory management, WMS, and production planning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL Server and Epicor DMT; familiarity with reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on root cause analysis and process optimization.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Project Management experience or certifications (PMP, ScrumMaster).
- Epicor certifications.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
