Job Description:
  • Manager of Software Engineering UI/React
  • Expert in in Full Stack design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for largescale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across client.
  • Is multiskilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
  • May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks.
  • Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill.
  • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
  • Stays abreast of cuttingedge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles.
  • As a Manager of Software Engineering UI/React at client within the Corporate Technology-Global Real Estate Technology team, candidates will oversee multiple teams, guiding their daily implementation activities while identifying and escalating any issues that arise.
  • Additionally, candidates will ensure that your team's work aligns with compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
  • Works at code-level using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, and React
  • Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
  • Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
  • Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 plus years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
  • Experience in managing technologists while working at code-level in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API implementation and micro-services architecture
  • Experience in frontend development, debugging, and maintaining code in a large environment with UI Frameworks such as Reacts JS or Bootstrap
  • Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists
  • Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

Pay Range: $75- $80
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
