Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Hermosa Beach, CA that is seeking a Project Manager.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise technology initiatives. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, finance, and procurement organizations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including staffing, resource allocation, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
* Lead cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, document processes, and identify data sources
* Establish and maintain project governance, communication plans, risk management strategies, and change control processes
* Coordinate project activities across business, infrastructure, application, and support teams
* Track project progress and performance against established milestones and objectives
* Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues
* Provide regular project updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
* Balance competing priorities related to scope, timeline, budget, quality, and risk
* Ensure stakeholder alignment and facilitate timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior Project Manager capacity
* Proven experience leading enterprise-scale technology implementations
* Strong background managing projects involving IT and technical teams
* Experience partnering with Finance and/or Procurement organizations
* Demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and reporting
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward

Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus
* Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
* Retail industry experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
