Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Visual Inspector for a contract position with a Global Pharmaceutical Company located in Fremont, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role involves executing routine unit operations in Visual Inspection related to the manufacturing of drug products in a multi-product facility. The successful candidate will perform duties under limited supervision according to standard operating and manufacturing procedures, including logistics coordination, batch record execution, and supporting quality activities in a cGMP environment.
Responsibilities: - Execute routine unit operations in Visual Inspection as assigned
- Perform duties under limited supervision according to standard operating and manufacturing procedures
- Execute complex fundamental operations such as visual inspection, advanced visual inspection, palletizing, cleaning, and inspection hood preparation
- Perform internal support duties including assisting with drug product filling and packaging
- Manage logistics coordination, batch record executions, equipment use logs, and work order initiation
- Document work according to cGMP and cGDP standards
- Adhere to established regulations and safety standards
- Maintain production areas according to predefined standards (5s)
- Contribute to Quality activities such as supporting investigations and corrective actions
Requirements: - High school degree or equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience in a cGMP regulated industry
- Ability to concentrate on detail-oriented work in a complex technical setup
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with computer-based systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Ability to read and understand SOPs and document work according to cGMP standards
- Must be able to pass a vision test, including acuity and color blindness
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired skills: - Associate's/Bachelor's degree or biotechnology vocational training
- Experience with BioMES Operations
- Ability to work as part of a high performing team and collaborate effectively
Pay range: up to $29.56 per hour
