Position OverviewThe PC Technician will support IT operations by assisting with PC deployments for new hires and maintaining end-user computing hardware. This role involves preparing, imaging, and configuring devices, managing inventory, and providing basic technical support to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with PC deployments and setup for new hires.
- Reset, image, and configure computers according to standard procedures.
- Load user profiles and ensure devices are properly prepared for end users.
- Create and manage user accounts as needed.
- Track and document new devices as they are received.
- Maintain, organize, and catalog IT hardware inventory.
- Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Follow IT standards and security requirements during device setup and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 1-2+ years of experience in PC technician, desktop support, hardware support, or deployment roles, or entry level candidates with an IT-focused education are encouraged to apply.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with imaging tools and remote management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting new hire onboarding and device lifecycle management.
- Exposure to IT inventory management or asset tracking systems.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
