IT Configuration TechnicianOn-Site | Full-Time | Entry LevelPosition OverviewThe Configuration Technician is responsible for preparing IT equipment for deployment by performing pre-configuration, validation, and quality checks before devices are shipped to end users. Work is completed by following documented instructions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and proper device functionality. This is an entry-level role with opportunities for growth in the IT field.
Key Responsibilities- Follow written instructions to provision and configure devices according to customer requirements.
- Perform basic kitting of equipment and prepare devices for deployment.
- Unbox, re-box, and process equipment for shipment.
- Clean, test, and inspect devices to ensure proper operation.
- Escalate technical or process issues to a supervisor when needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and within established timelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications- At least one year of related experience or relevant training preferred.
- Technical certifications are not required but may be pursued after hire.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, carrying, and moving equipment.
- Occasional use of basic tools and cleaning materials.
- Ability to read instructions, communicate clearly, and work at a computer.
Preferred Knowledge- Basic understanding of Windows environments.
- Experience working with hardware peripherals.
- Ability to follow written directions and document work accurately.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Brook Park, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
