Job Description –
This is a senior-level position focused on leading the design, integration, and delivery of scalable Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) platforms. The role combines strategic and technical leadership to enhance marketing operations and personalization capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead AJO solution architecture and implementation with agency delivery teams.
• Align marketing use cases with journey logic, segmentation, and activation workflows.
• Define schemas, identity stitching, and real-time event models.
• Configure platform components: offers, decisioning rules, triggers, and journeys.
• Partner with Data Engineering to optimize Snowflake data for AJO activation.
• Define customer attributes, behavioral events, and consent workflows.
• Validate data flows and integration processes.
• Upgrade customer journeys for better personalization and scalability.
• Collaborate with Email Ops and Marketing Ops to activate journeys.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Martech, CRM, Legal, Brand, etc.
• Document platform configuration, use case mapping, and QA plans.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years in marketing technology or digital implementation.
• Hands-on expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer.
• Certifications: AJO Architect, AEP Business Practitioner, Adobe Target.
• Strong understanding of journey architecture and real-time personalization.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Proficiency in designing data schemas and decisioning strategies.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA compliance and consent management.
• Skilled in JSON payloads, APIs, and event instrumentation.
• Knowledge of AJO integration with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills
