This role is in the data center industry, focused on maintaining and supporting electrical, mechanical, and security infrastructure to ensure operational excellence. Position Overview for the Critical Operations Engineer I (Night):
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical systems within a data center environment during night shifts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor and respond to system alarms, conduct preventive maintenance, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Assist in managing and improving data center infrastructure systems, including power, cooling, and fire safety.
  • Document all activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements for the Critical Operations Engineer I (Night):
  • 2-5 years of experience in the data center industry or similar high-availability environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge effectively.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, and customer teams.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including power, cooling, battery systems, and fire safety standards.
