We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will see you working on-site at various locations, providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our state-of-the-art automation systems. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Providing on-site technical support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement new automation processes and technologies.
4. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks of equipment and systems.
5. Providing detailed reports on field visits, including issues encountered, solutions provided, and recommendations for future action.
6. Training clients and staff on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
7. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in automation technology and industry trends to ensure our systems remain at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Field Service Engineer role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience working with automation systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
7. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to various locations as required.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and development, with the desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
