Corporate Tax Consultant

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state corporate income tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including related SEC disclosures.
• Research and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
• Collaborate closely with the Tax Manager and external auditors to support SEC reporting requirements.
• Assist with IRS and state tax audits by preparing required documentation and responses.
• Support tax planning initiatives to enhance compliance and optimize the company’s tax position.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using OneSource and other tax technology tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably with a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
• Hands-on experience with SEC reporting, ASC 740, and corporate tax compliance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• Proficiency with OneSource or similar corporate tax compliance software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
