Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is a role that will require you to oversee a range of public works construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. You will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of the project life cycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
  • Oversee the procurement process and coordinate material and resources allocation.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Interact with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

Qualifications:

  • 5-15 years of Public Works Construction experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar managerial role.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • Solid knowledge of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
