Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP HR ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP HCM modules, Python development, and SAP integration technologies including CPI and PI/PO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP HR solutions, integrating SAP systems with external platforms, and supporting HR business processes through scalable technical solutions. The role requires strong ABAP development skills combined with modern integration and automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP HR ABAP solutions across SAP HCM modules.
• Build and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, BADI implementations, and user exits.
• Develop and support interfaces between SAP HR systems and external applications using SAP CPI and SAP PI/PO.
• Work with Python scripting to automate HR data processing, integrations, and reporting solutions.
• Implement HR business process enhancements related to Payroll, Time Management, Personnel Administration, and Organizational Management.
• Develop IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and HR reports.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate HR business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain middleware integrations and APIs for HR system interoperability.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ABAP programs.
• Support data migration, HR interfaces, and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, coding standards, and security policies.
• Provide production support and resolve issues related to HR integrations and ABAP developments.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of SAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development within SAP HCM / HR modules.
• Experience working with SAP HR components such as Payroll, Time Management, PA, OM, and Benefits.
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and SAP PI/PO integration technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation, scripting, and data processing.
• Experience with SAP interfaces including IDOC, RFC, BAPI, SOAP/REST APIs.
• Knowledge of HR data structures and HR business processes.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA HR migration or HR transformation projects.
• Experience in HR data integration with third-party payroll or HR platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP Gateway, OData services, and REST-based integrations.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
