Enterprise Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking an Enterprise Architect.

Overview:
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and aligning enterprise-wide system and information architecture with business strategy. This role has a strong focus on business architecture, ensuring IT initiatives support organizational capabilities, transformation efforts, and long-term strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Design enterprise architecture solutions encompassing software, hardware, and communication components to meet current and future business needs
* Ensure architectural solutions comply with enterprise IT standards, platforms, integration requirements, and external interfaces
* Maintain compliance with the organization's common operating environment and IT architecture standards
* Analyze workflows, organizational structures, and planning processes to identify issues and recommend corrective actions
* Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks, models, and roadmaps that support strategic and transformation initiatives
* Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and technical direction to team members

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required
* MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
* TOGAFx certification required
* 2-4 years of relevant experience required
* Broad experience in technology delivery, including custom application development using multiple programming languages
* Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship across software engineering design, development practices, and frameworks
* Experience with technical planning and solution design for small to medium software portfolios, including vendor evaluations and architecture recommendations
* Strong expertise in business architecture disciplines, including capability modeling, process architecture, value streams, and IT-to-business alignment
* Hands-on experience implementing and evolving Enterprise Architecture (EA) tools such as Ardoq
* Ability to apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures to technical assignments
* Practical, hands-on experience delivering architecture solutions in real-world environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
