Position Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in FPGA development or FPGA verification to join our engineering team. This role requires on?site work at a secure facility and involves contributing to the design, development, verification, and integration of FPGA?based solutions for advanced electronic systems. You will work with cross?functional teams, including systems engineers and hardware designers, to deliver high?quality, production?ready FPGA designs using major industry?standard technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver production?quality FPGA designs from concept through final release.
- Architect FPGA?based systems, define device selections, interfaces, and operational concepts.
- Translate system?level requirements into detailed FPGA requirements.
- Implement FPGA designs using VHDL, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers to support modeling, design partitioning, integration, and test.
- Verify FPGA designs using self?checking testbenches, directed tests, and constrained random methodologies.
- Track functional and code coverage during verification.
- Perform integration, troubleshooting, and debugging on FPGA?based systems.
- Provide complete documentation including requirements, verification plans, and user guides.
- Support internal and external technical reviews as needed.
- Execute tasks aligned with program schedules, budgets, and milestones.
This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, including at least one of the following:
- Digital design and VHDL coding
- FPGA implementation using Xilinx or Microsemi devices and toolflows
- Delivering FPGA solutions for system?level applications
- Hands?on FPGA integration or system?level debug
Preferred Qualifications
- FPGA design experience in one or more of the following:
- Radar signal processing
- Image processing for visual or infrared sensors
- Embedded system design using ARM, MicroBlaze, or Nios processors
- High?speed interfaces including gigabit serial links and multi?gigabit transceivers (MGTs)
- Strong understanding of configuration management and design documentation.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and supporting design reviews.
Experience with verification methodologies:
- Constrained?random verification
- SystemVerilog UVM
- Emulation platforms (e.g., Veloce)
Pay Range: $50.00 - $ 53.00 per hour.
