Enterprise Agile Enablement Consultant

Location: Addison, Texas (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Enablement Specialist to drive continuous learning, operational excellence, and enabling maturity across our organization. This role is responsible for designing and facilitating learning sessions, enabling teams on enterprise tooling like Jira Align, Jira, and Confluence, and supporting teams in adopting best-in-class delivery practices. The ideal candidate blends expertise in agile frameworks, enterprise work management tools, and project management with strong communication skills to simplify complex topics and engage diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a coach and facilitator for teams needing guidance on tooling and processes.
  • Design, lead, and facilitate engaging learning sessions, workshops, and recurring enablement forums for teams across the enterprise.
  • Develop learning materials, playbooks, job aids, and interactive content supporting project delivery and developer experience tools and practices.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to teams on Jira Align for strategic planning, road mapping, work alignment, and portfolio visibility.
  • Assist with Jira board configuration, workflow optimization, and reporting to support efficient team operations.
  • Apply project management best practices, frameworks, and governance standards to help teams plan, execute, and monitor work effectively.
  • Build, manage, and maintain structured Confluence spaces, including coding pages using macros, templates, and advanced formatting.
  • Develop knowledge repositories that are intuitive, searchable, and tailored to different user groups.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating learning sessions, training, or workshops for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Jira Align in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, structures, and reporting.
  • Comfortable with data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data cleaning.
  • Ability to create advanced Confluence pages utilizing macros, HTML/CSS, or custom templates.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into simple concepts.
  • Proven ability to coach teams, build relationships, and work collaboratively across organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Jira Align or Atlassian certifications.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or similar agile/project management credentials.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or large-scale delivery environments.
  • Background in technology, financial services, or large-matrix organizations.
