Summary

Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric) 
Location                     :           Newark, NJ -ONSITE (3 days per week)  
Rate                            :           $65/hr - $70/hr on W2 all -inclusive  
We are currently able to consider only W2 candidates for this role.
 Required Technical Skills

We are seeking a Data Engineer with 10+ years of work experience, including strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, to design, build, and optimize modern data solutions for enterprise analytics.

Involves working closely with cross functional teams to deliver scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse architectures, and Fabric native data models that support business intelligence, reporting, and cloud modernization initiatives.

Microsoft Fabric expertise   :           Lakehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, Semantic Models, Delta format.

Azure Data Engineering       :           Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, ADLS.

Programming                         :           PySpark, SQL, Python.

Data Architecture                  :           Data modeling, schema evolution, streaming architecture, Parquet/Protobuf formats.

DevOps                                  :           CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Experience working in Agile environments
