Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ansible Automation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure automation using Ansible. This role requires expertise in configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, cloud platforms, Linux administration, and DevOps practices to automate enterprise infrastructure and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible.
Create and manage Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Modules, and Inventories.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and configuration management.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Development teams to streamline deployment processes.
Manage Linux and Windows server configurations through automation.
Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize existing automation workflows.
Maintain documentation for automation processes, standards, and best practices.
Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and operational stability.
Participate in production support and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
Experience developing Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and Automation Workflows.
Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
Knowledge of DevSecOps and enterprise security best practices.
Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or related certifications are a plus.
Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or other enterprise environments.
