ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a QA Specialist for a contract position with a biotechnology company. This position is located in Swedesboro, NJ.
Summary: This role focuses on leading and managing all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) compliance activities for the site. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for TSA matters, including audits, system management, and employee training, within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
Responsibilities: - Lead TSA Audits every three years and for cause.
- TSA Principal Security Officer, to include collaborating with TSA personnel requesting shipping documents and TSA agent walkthroughs of the facility
- Managing IACMS and KSMS systems to maintain current TSA approved drivers and TSA recognized shippers
- Training new hires and re on TSA Compliance
- Responsible for initiating TSA Background Checks for new employees
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a technical or life sciences focus.
- Statistics preferable.
- 3 years of experience in TSA (Transportation Security Administration) compliance preferred
- Extensive knowledge of application of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) within pharmaceutical quality systems
- Mastery of skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment
- Must have strong technical writing authorship and be able to review reports while effectively inputting and expressing Quality risk management risks
- This position is administrative and is positioned in an office environment
- It requires standing and bending, reaching, walking and talking as well as exerting up to 20lbs
- Equivalent combinations of education, training and meaningful work experience may be considered
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a drug screening
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Pay rate: up to $30.00 hourly
