Summary

Job Description

The Front-End Developer will aid in web application and digital marketing development/maintenance/revisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The candidate will work collaboratively with other IT professionals and department stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions that improve operations and support our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications and interfaces, including websites and connecting to data sources. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop responsive web pages. Use SEO and web accessibility best-practices.

Aid in development of back-end software and infrastructure when necessary.

Provide training, documentation, and support end-users on technology systems and applications.

Evaluate specifications and requirements against available systems and functionality.

Research new technologies and build working prototypes for possible use on future project.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and relevant certification, OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4-year relevant work experience, OR Bachelor's degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Statistics or a related discipline. Previous experience working in higher education as well as data and analytical tools.
