The position is part of a small onshore configuration team working closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, efficient, and fully digital onboarding journeys.
Due to the niche nature of Fenergo skills, the need for real-time collaboration with business teams, and the program's regulatory sensitivity, this role must be performed onsite/onshore during U.S. business hours. The consultant will also play a key role in enabling and training offshore and internal teams as the capability matures.
Project ContextThe CLM program is implementing Fenergo to enable straight-through processing, automated workflows, and robust KYC/AML compliance across the commercial client lifecycle. The work involves configuring Fenergo modules, integrating with upstream and downstream systems, and supporting regulatory-driven onboarding requirements while reducing manual effort and onboarding timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Partner closely with product owners, business SMEs, and compliance teams to understand onboarding, KYC, and CLM requirements
- Translate business requirements into Fenergo configurations, workflows, rules, UI models, and data structures
- Design end-to-end CLM solutions using Fenergo modules while adhering to regulatory and enterprise standards
- Execute sprint deliverables including configuration, rules development, UI modeling, integration support, and defect fixes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
- Build and deliver functional demos to business stakeholders and incorporate feedback into future iterations
- Contribute to CLM architecture discussions and evaluate impacts across workflows, integrations, and data models
- Configure and customize Fenergo components including workflows, rules engines, forms, document templates, and UI elements
- Implement custom logic (JavaScript, XML configurations) when out-of-the-box Fenergo functionality is insufficient
- Support the full SDLC from design through build, testing, deployment, and post-release validation
- Collaborate with integration teams on APIs connecting to KYC providers, CRM platforms, party data systems, and document repositories
- Assist with production releases, issue triage, root cause analysis, and ongoing platform enhancements
- Maintain configuration standards, documentation, and reusable patterns across the CLM platform
- Support knowledge transfer and training of offshore or internal team members
Required Skills & Experience- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with the Fenergo CLM platform
- Strong experience configuring Fenergo for onboarding, KYC, AML, regulatory workflows, and client outreach
- Practical experience with Fenergo core components such as Flow Studio, External Adapters, Access Layers, and Journey Launchpads
- 3+ years of API and integration experience using RESTful services
- Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot for API development and consumption
- Proficiency with JSON, XML, and YAML data formats
- 3+ years of experience working across the full SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, deploy, support)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills across complex, multi-system workflows
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of KYC/AML and regulatory frameworks (CDD, EDD, FATCA, CRS, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps and ALM tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence
- Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Financial services or CLM domain experience
Work Requirements- Onshore role only
- Must align with U.S. business hours for close collaboration with business and product teams
- High-touch role requiring frequent stakeholder interaction
- Expected to assist with onboarding and enablement of offshore/internal resources over time
Interview Process- 1-2 interview rounds
- Video or phone interviews
- Heavily focused on hands-on Fenergo technical expertise
