Your role on our team

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll be part of a small development team focused on building and maintaining custom software applications that support the distributors that put tools into the hands of our customers. You'll collaborate with a pod of other small teams that share your team's goals.

You'll work within an agile framework that enables iterative software releases through a well-established SDLC, encourages continuous feedback from product partners and stakeholders, and fosters innovation through creative problem-solving.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities
  • Hands-on design and development of applications using technologies such as .NET/React.
  • Work as a member of an agile software development team
  • Enhance and support existing software applications
  • Troubleshoot problems identified by users
  • Collaborate with architects, lead engineers, product owners, and analysts to understand requirements, refine a backlog, and develop solutions
  • Advocate for adherence to standards on the development team
  • Mentor junior team members

The TOOLS you'll bring with you
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • C# / .NET
    • React.js, Vue.js, or similar JavaScript framework
    • SQL
    • Azure Cloud / other cloud platform
    • Git or other source control
    • Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
    • Object-oriented and relational database development
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
  • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Experience in using or willingness to learn AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
