Description: Hexaware is seeking a Delivery Manager with a strong DevOps background to lead a Modern Delivery Toolchain managed services engagement for a large, regulated enterprise. You will own end-to-end delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of the DevOps platform ecosystem-covering source control, CI/CD, artifact management, infrastructure-as-code, container platforms, security scanning, observability, and ITSM integration. This role blends service delivery management, platform product mindset, technical depth, and stakeholder leadership to ensure high availability, compliance, and measurable business value.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Service Delivery, Governance, and Reliability:

Own SLAs/OLAs, SLOs/SLIs, runbooks, incident/problem/change (ITIL v4), and service reviews.

Drive stability and uptime across toolchain platforms; lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.

Oversee capacity planning, DR strategies, backup/restore, and high availability.

Platform Operations and Modernization:

Manage roadmap, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle for DevOps tools and integrations.

Standardize golden paths/blueprints for pipelines, environments, and platform services.

Champion automation-first operations (self-service, policy-as-code, GitOps).

DevOps and Engineering Leadership:

Guide best practices for branching, CI/CD, artifact/versioning, IaC, container orchestration, and release governance.

Establish reference architectures and reusable templates for multi-tenant onboarding.

Partner with SREs/engineers to drive observability, performance tuning, and toil reduction.

Security, Risk, and Compliance:

Implement RBAC, least privilege, identity federation (OIDC/SAML), and secrets management.

Embed DevSecOps controls (SAST/DAST/SCA), artifact signing, and supply chain security.

Ensure audit readiness and adherence to enterprise and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

Stakeholder, Financial, and Vendor Management:

Serve as primary point of contact for platform stakeholders (application teams, security, compliance, infrastructure, procurement).

Manage demand intake, capacity, release calendars, and cross-team dependencies.

Own operating budgets, license consumption, and FinOps cost optimization.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for support, escalations, and roadmap alignment.

Metrics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement:

Track and improve DORA metrics, change success rate, MTTR, platform adoption, and customer experience (CSAT/NPS).

Publish executive dashboards, service health, and risk/issue registers.

Drive Kaizen/CSI initiatives and quarterly value realization summaries.

Required Qualifications:

10 15 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering and 3 5+ years in service delivery or engagement management for enterprise DevOps platforms.

Proven success running managed services for multi-tenant DevOps toolchains in a regulated environment.

Strong grasp of:

Version control and branching strategies (trunk-based, GitFlow)

CI/CD pipeline design, promotion strategies, approvals, and controls

Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management

Containerization and orchestration

Observability and SRE practices (SLI/SLO, error budgets)

Release governance and environment management

Hands-on familiarity with several of the following:

SCM/CI/CD: GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Harness, Argo CD

Artifacts/Packages: JFrog Artifactory, Nexus

IaC/Config: Terraform, Ansible, Helm

Containers/Runtime: Docker, Kubernetes, admission controls (OPA, Gatekeeper, Kyverno)

Security: SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, HashiCorp Vault, artifact signing

Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace

Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (at least one in depth)

ITSM/ITIL: ServiceNow (incidents, changes, CMDB, service catalog)

Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

ITIL v4 Foundation (or equivalent practical experience).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: AWS Architect, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, PMP/PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL Intermediate.

Experience consolidating/modernizing toolchains and leading platform migrations at scale.

Demonstrated FinOps practices and license optimization in platform contexts.

Experience with developer portals and golden path enablement.

Background in data-driven reporting (e.g., building KPI dashboards).
