Identify missing descriptions and incorrect quantities
Begin organizing shelves and labeling

Full system cleanup
Add/update all part descriptions
Process excess parts and return them to inventory

Deep cycle counts and corrections
Finalize organization of all shelves and storage areas

Final audit preparation
Confirm accuracy of all inventory records

Responsibilities
·Update Inventory System — Enter missing parts, update descriptions, correct quantities, and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.
·Parts Room Organization — Reorganize shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean, efficient storage layout.
·Process Excess Parts — Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.
·Shelving & Stocking — Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.
·Documentation Cleanup — Over the 6‑month period ensure all part descriptions, categories, and locations are fully updated and standardized.
·Support Inventory Audit — Assist with mid‑assignment and end‑of‑assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.
·Assist Staff — Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability.
Requirements
·1-4 years of experience in a similar type of role.
·Ability to work with limited supervision.
·Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
·Proficiency with Microsoft basic PC programs.
·Experience with parts inventory procedures.
·Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
