Role Overview
This Project/Program Manager role will establish the infrastructure and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for a new research impact measurement system. The position involves partnering with the Academic Research Initiatives (ARI) team to build, implement, and test the system across the 2025 project portfolio. This role is instrumental in demonstrating the return on investment for research investments by enabling effective tracking and analysis of research impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement a three-layer classification model (Innovation Value, Impact Tier, Artifacts) for research impact measurement across 100% of active projects.
- Establish and maintain high-quality, milestone-based data capture processes.
- Collaborate with developers to build custom Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and automation to support longitudinal tracking and portfolio analytics.
- Capture and test the new system across the complete 2025 project portfolio.
- Design data models that facilitate real-time portfolio dashboards and self-service reporting.
- Ensure data readiness for analytics and manage integrations with systems like ASHub.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analytics or program/product management is preferred. Experience with data analytics, including organizing and cleaning data to create data narratives, is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel with Pivot tables is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM management system.
