The team works with external training vendors and manages the end-to-end training process, including class registration, approvals, payments, and internal employee training administration. The current process relies heavily on manual effort and communication between multiple stakeholders.
As part of a modernization initiative, the team is rebuilding an existing training catalog and request management application into a custom solution within the ServiceNow ecosystem. The new platform will introduce enhanced workflows, improved automation, business logic, and integrations designed to streamline operations and improve the user experience.
Ideal Background
This role is best suited for a developer whose primary expertise is full stack application development, with strong React and Azure experience, and who has previously worked on projects involving ServiceNow. ServiceNow experience is required, but deep platform expertise is not. Candidates should be comfortable navigating ServiceNow-related code, integrations, and configurations, reviewing AI-generated code, and ensuring solutions are technically sound and production-ready. Experience using Claude or similar AI-assisted development tools is a strong plus.
Position Overview
Client is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Full Stack Developer to join a team modernizing an internal training management platform. The application supports the end-to-end training lifecycle, including course registration, approvals, vendor coordination, payments, and employee training administration.
The team is rebuilding an existing solution into a modern custom application that leverages ServiceNow, React, Azure, automation, integrations, and enhanced workflows. While ServiceNow experience is required, this is primarily a full stack development role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building web applications using React and Azure and be comfortable working in an environment where ServiceNow is part of the overall solution architecture.
The initial focus will involve supporting ServiceNow-related components of the project, but the role will transition toward broader full stack development responsibilities as the implementation progresses.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support full stack applications using React and Azure.
- Build and enhance user-facing features and application components.
- Develop integrations and APIs between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
- Contribute to application architecture, business logic, workflow automation, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Support cloud-based application deployments and CI/CD processes.
- Review, validate, and maintain generated code, including AI-assisted development outputs.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong full stack development experience.
- Professional experience with React.
- Experience developing applications within Microsoft Azure environments.

- Experience working with REST APIs, integrations, and modern application architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Previous experience working on projects that utilized ServiceNow.
- Ability to understand, review, and validate ServiceNow-related code and configurations.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

- Experience with OAuth, IAM, or identity management integrations.
