Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) products and Regulatory Reporting within the banking or financial services domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, technology teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and support delivery of reporting and treasury solutions.
The role requires strong knowledge of FX products, trade lifecycle, regulatory frameworks, and reporting standards, along with the ability to translate business requirements into clear documentation and process flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to FX products and regulatory reporting
- Work with stakeholders across Treasury, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams
- Understand end-to-end FX trade lifecycle including spot, forward, swaps, options, and settlement
- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, use cases, and wireframes
- Support implementation of regulatory reporting requirements such as MiFID, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MAS, FCA, or local compliance regulations
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and data mapping
- Coordinate with development and QA teams during solution delivery
- Support UAT, defect management, and production validation
- Ensure reporting logic aligns with compliance and audit requirements
- Work on data validation and reconciliation for regulatory submissions
Required Skills:
- Strong Business Analysis experience in banking / treasury / capital markets
- Hands-on knowledge of FX trade lifecycle
- Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks
- Strong SQL / data analysis skills
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Visio, Figma / wireframing tools
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
