About the Job- We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP EWM along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong functional expertise in Extended Warehouse Management.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP EWM processes while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP EWM business processes.
- Work on warehouse processes including Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Operations, and Physical Inventory.
- Configure Warehouse Structure, Storage Types, Storage Sections, Storage Bins, and Activity Areas.
- Work on Inbound Delivery, Putaway, Goods Receipt, and Deconsolidation processes.
- Configure Outbound Delivery, Picking, Packing, Staging, and Goods Issue processes.
- Work with Warehouse Tasks, Warehouse Orders, Queues, and Resource Management.
- Configure and support POSC and LOSC.
- Handle Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting processes.
- Work on RF framework and RF transactions.
- Configure Handling Units (HU) and packaging-related processes.
- Support Wave Management, Replenishment, Slotting, and Warehouse Optimization.
- Work on integration between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP.
- Support integration with MM, SD, PP, and QM modules.
- Analyze business requirements and provide SAP EWM solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
- Perform configuration, testing, defect resolution, and UAT support.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Prepare functional documentation and provide user training.
- Participate in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and support.
- Good understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes.
- Experience with Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Physical Inventory.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Tasks, Warehouse Orders, Waves, Queues, and RF.
- Experience with POSC, LOSC, Handling Units, and Replenishment.
- Strong understanding of EWM integration with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Embedded EWM and/or Decentralized EWM.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications.
- Experience with MFS (Material Flow System) is an advantage.
- Exposure to automated warehouses and conveyor/warehouse automation integration is preferred.
- Experience with end-to-end SAP EWM implementation or rollout projects.
- Experience working in global SAP projects.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP EWM certification is preferred but not mandatory.
