Genesis10 is currently seeking an ETL Developer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves hands-on design and ETL development within a large-scale Data Warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will work on multiple projects concurrently, taking ownership of designing solutions and developing code while partnering with business analysts, architecture teams, and near-shore/offshore teammates.
Responsibilities: - Perform hands-on design and ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment
- Work on multiple projects concurrently, attending project meetings, understanding requirements, designing solutions, and developing code
- Partner with near-shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment
- Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and develop high-level and detailed designs
- Collaborate with the Information Architecture team to propose technical solutions to business problems
- Identify gaps in technology and propose viable solutions
- Take accountability for technical deliveries from offshore teams
- Work with development and QA teams during the post-code development phase
- Identify and implement improvement areas within the application
- Ensure adherence to defined processes, quality standards, and best practices
Requirements: - Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts
- Experience with Hadoop, Informatica, and Teradata
- Expert knowledge in Oracle/Exadata and Oracle SQL/PLSQL
- Experience with ETL processing concepts, handling large data volumes, and performance tuning
- Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills
- Ability to design systems with little direction or guidance
- Excellent analytical and logical skills
- Ability to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions
- Strong knowledge of the project life cycle
- Ability to multitask and work independently

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
