Job Description:
Network Director of Project Management

Location: Remote (Must work EST hours)
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

This position is a strategic leadership role responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing complex initiatives within Network Management. The role involves driving project management standards, developing tools, and strengthening internal project delivery capabilities. Reporting to the SVP of Network Management, you will lead cross-functional project teams, manage vendor relationships, and serve as a key liaison between Network Management and other departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management activities from initiation through completion.
  • Develop project charters, integrated project plans, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Manage and report on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across business and network initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Network Management teams and other organizational departments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee work with external project managers.
  • Conduct process analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI evaluations to support decision-making.
  • Develop complex reports and business cases related to systems and operational improvements.
  • Identify technology, process, or vendor solutions with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with IT, network, and clinical teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree.
  • Project management experience in a healthcare, managed care, or Medicaid environment.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting provider network operations or healthcare contracting.
  • Prior experience supervising or leading project teams.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and survey platforms.
Compensation

The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00 to $45.00 per hour. The final pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
