What You'll Do
As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting critical data operations and delivering high-quality data solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Develop, enhance, and support data solutions using Azure SQL and Snowflake
- Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and validate results
- Perform data comparisons and reconciliation activities across multiple datasets
- Utilize SQL concepts including joins, subqueries, and data validation techniques
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SSIS
- Execute data loads, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to support data delivery and reporting needs
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong foundation in SQL and relational database concepts
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or similar technologies
- Experience with or coursework in Python and/or C#
- Familiarity with ETL tools, data integration, or data pipeline development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL tools
- Academic projects, internships, or personal projects involving data engineering or analytics
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures
