Atlassian Cloud Administrator

Location: HQ-Austin, TX; Lincoln, NE; Des Moines, IA; Cary, NC; Charlotte, NC; Asheville, NC; Atlanta, GA; Minneapolis, MN

Schedule: 2 days a week in office. 3 days work from home

Employment Type: 6-month contract to perm

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an Atlassian Cloud Administrator to provide administrative support for the Atlassian suite, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Rovo. The candidate will handle administrative requests from various teams, focusing on response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a willingness to learn, a troubleshooting mindset, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assignments for the maintenance and support of Atlassian enterprise applications.
  • Monitor the internal ticketing system for change requests and complete tickets within specified SLAs.
  • Create and update projects, workflows, custom fields, spaces, user permissions, and other configuration elements.
  • Create and maintain external users from partner financial institutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems teams may experience within the Atlassian suite.
  • Configure and maintain various addons for Jira and Confluence, including implementation and deployment.
  • Maintain internal Atlassian documentation as the suite changes.
  • Monitor internal communication channels to assist Atlassian users with questions.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree plus 3+ years of equivalent work experience is required.

Technical Skills:
  • Ability to prioritize and reprioritize work based on team needs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including scrum and kanban.
  • Experience with both Jira and Confluence system and project administration within Atlassian's Cloud environment.
  • Experience administering Scriptrunner in all aspects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more Atlassian certifications.
  • Scripting or coding ability, especially in Java.
Work Environment

This position requires a hybrid work model, with two days in the office. Candidates must be located in one of the following cities: Austin, TX; Lincoln, NE; Des Moines, IA; Cary, NC; Charlotte, NC; Asheville, NC; Atlanta, GA; or Minneapolis, MN.
