Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Document Generation Developer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and implement enterprise document generation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with document composition tools, XML/XSLT technologies, template development, and enterprise system integration, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure dynamic document templates, forms, correspondence, and document generation workflows.
• Develop and maintain document composition solutions for PDF, HTML, and print output.
• Integrate document templates with backend enterprise applications, policy administration systems, or core business platforms.
• Perform data mapping and implement business rules using XML, JSON, and XSLT to generate dynamic documents.
• Create reusable templates and automate document generation processes.
• Develop unit tests, perform QA testing, troubleshoot formatting issues, and optimize document generation performance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and SMEs to convert business and regulatory requirements into document templates.
• Support production deployments and resolve document generation issues.

Required Skills

• Experience with enterprise document composition or document generation platforms.
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and data mapping.
• Experience developing dynamic PDF and document templates.
• Experience integrating document solutions with enterprise applications or REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong programming and system development knowledge.
• Experience with Java or .NET is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of document workflow automation.
• Experience with policy administration or insurance systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance is a plus.
