Role Summary

We are seeking a senior, hands-on  Technical Lead to support enterprise customer communication and document generation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in document template development, business rules, enterprise integrations, and leading technical delivery through critical releases and production go-lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development of complex document templates, reusable/shared content, business rules, conditional logic, and XPath expressions.
• Serve as the onshore technical lead for document generation workstreams during release and production go-live phases.
• Perform impact analysis and change management for large template libraries.
• Drive end-to-end delivery, including solution design, development, unit testing, SIT support, defect resolution, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and offshore developers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Review technical configurations and code, enforce development standards, and promote best practices.
• Identify technical risks during releases and support production stabilization and hypercare activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM) or Enterprise Document Generation platforms.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Template development and configuration
  • Shared content management
  • Business rules and conditional logic
  • XPath
  • XML
  • JSON
  • Data mapping
  • Document debugging and troubleshooting
• Experience integrating document generation solutions with enterprise applications and core systems.
• Experience working with:
  • Guidewire
  • Mainframe systems
  • Policy Administration Systems
  • REST APIs
  • Flat file integrations
• Exposure to Python-based services supporting document generation and integrations.
• Experience with legacy document generation platform migrations, modernization, template rationalization, and impact analysis.
• Ability to work independently as a senior technical lead and mentor development teams.

Nice to Have

• Property & Casualty (P&C) or Life Insurance domain experience.
• Experience with cloud-based document generation platforms.
• Previous experience supporting production go-lives and hypercare.
• Exposure to AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar developer productivity tools.
