Seeking an experienced QA Test Manager to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance efforts for enterprise application and modernization initiatives. This role will oversee test strategy, coordinate testing activities across technical and business teams, and ensure software releases meet quality and performance standards throughout the software development life cycle. Ideal candidates will have strong QA leadership experience, deep knowledge of testing processes, and the ability to collaborate with developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.

responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for enterprise applications and modernization projects
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test suites, and test cases
- Coordinate testing efforts with development teams, vendors, business users, and subject matter experts
- Review and refine test cases and testing coverage across functional, integration, and performance testing
- Track, prioritize, and manage defects, leading defect triage and resolution efforts
- Provide regular testing status updates, including progress, defects, and risk areas
- Ensure test results, defects, and issues are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders
- Verify UAT exit criteria are met and support final business approval before system releases
- Mentor QA team members and coordinate testing schedules, activities, and resources
- Analyze recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements to testing processes
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of software defects and system issues during testing cycles
qualifications:
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or QA leadership roles
Experience leading or coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts
Strong experience developing and managing test strategies, test plans, test suites, and test cases
Experience managing testing activities across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall development environments
Hands-on experience with QA and testing tools such as Jira, Selenium, JUnit, Microfocus UFT, SQL, or similar tools
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or JProfiler
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience mentoring QA team members and coordinating testing schedules and activities
Salesforce testing experience is a plus
Experience working with government or public sector organizations is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education
