Test Strategy & Planning

• Own and evolve the enterprisewide test strategy across functional, regression, automation, integration, and performance testing.
• Define testing standards, best practices, and quality metrics that align with business goals.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Oversee automated UI, API, and backend test suites and ensure full CI/CD integration; drive shiftleft testing.

Team Leadership & Management

• Provide strategic leadership for Managers, Senior Delivery Leads, Test Architects, and crossfunctional QA/engineering teams.
• Develop and mentor leaders to strengthen technical depth and organizational capability.
• Lead performance management, career development, succession planning, and talent retention.
• Manage resource planning and staffing aligned to delivery priorities.
• Build a highperformance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.

Execution & Delivery

• Ensure testing activities are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Oversee defect triage, rootcause analysis, and quality risk management.
• Provide clear, datadriven quality insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Improve testing efficiency, reliability, and automation maturity.

Process & Governance

• Maintain and enhance QA processes, including test planning, test case management, and release readiness.
• Enforce industry best practices across test strategy, automation, and quality governance.

Required Qualifications

• Director/Senior Director level experience leading managers, architects, and crossfunctional engineering teams.
• 18+ years in QE/QA/Software Engineering with progressive leadership roles.
• 10+ years of peoplemanagement experience in multilayered technical organizations.
• Proven ability to build and scale QA organizations in enterprise environments.
• Strong handson experience with test automation (Selenium, Playwright).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Demonstrated success creating and executing enterprise test strategies.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholderinfluencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloudbased testing (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6).
• Familiarity with API testing frameworks (Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with largescale SaaS or enterprise platforms.
