About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant with a strong focus onSupplier Master Data to join our team in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and governing supplier master data solutions, with exposure to Reltio being a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and implement MDM solutions with a focus on Supplier/Vendor Master data domains.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards, data quality rules, and match/merge logic for supplier master records.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to gather requirements and map source-to-target data flows.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and standardization of supplier master data.
  • Integrate MDM platforms with upstream/downstream systems (ERP, procurement, finance systems) via APIs or batch processes.
  • Support data stewardship processes including survivorship rules, hierarchy management, and data enrichment.
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and provide root-cause analysis and remediation.
  • Document data models, business rules, and technical specifications.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to drive adoption of MDM best practices.
  • Provide guidance on MDM roadmap, scalability, and future enhancements.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, with specific hands-on experience inSupplier/Vendor Master data domain.
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts: match & merge, survivorship, hierarchy management, data stewardship, and governance.
  • Experience with data integration tools/ETL processes (batch and real-time).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data profiling/analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Finance, IT).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Reltio MDM platform (configuration, workflows, match rules, RDM, integration hub).
  • Experience with other MDM tools (Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, Stibo, Semarchy, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Procurement/ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, SAP) as they relate to supplier data.
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and tools.
