About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and services. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software solutions, optimize database performance, and drive best practices across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Experience designing and developing database-driven applications using Microsoft SQL Server or comparable relational database management systems.
- Experience with Git-based source control systems and modern development workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including SOLID design principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, backend services, integrations, and batch processing solutions.
- Expertise in database development concepts, including:
- Stored procedures and functions
- Query optimization and performance tuning
- Indexing strategies
- Transaction management
- Data modeling and database design
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex issues across application, database, and production environments.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, testing practices, and deployment processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services using C# and .NET technologies.
- Create and optimize database solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Develop and support RESTful APIs, integrations, and data-processing workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across application and database layers.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Document technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
