Position: Workday Payroll Functional Consultant

Job Description:
3 6+ years in Workday Payroll (Functional) with hands on configuration of earnings/deductions, accumulators, pay groups, pay schedules, costing, and payroll BPs. (Industry baseline)
Practical experience with PECI/Payroll Interface and Workday Cloud Connect for Third Party Payroll; comfortable with effective dated deltas, sequencing, and bidirectional flows.
Proficiency with EIB for payroll data loads and updates; familiarity with security considerations and audit trails.
Strong understanding of data integrity and governance for HR/Payroll platforms; ability to work in a global, integrated HR tech environment.
Excellent communication skills to partner with onshore Payroll/HRIS and external payroll vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to Workday Studio for advanced payroll integration use cases (in partnership with integration teams).
Workday Payroll/Integrations certifications (highly preferred). (Industry expectation)
Experience supporting year end payroll, tax updates, retro processing, and reconciliations with third party payroll partners (aligned with Cloud Connect operating model).
Familiarity with global payroll connectivity and vendor selection considerations (API strategy, compliance, unified reporting).
