Summit Technologies Inc. is seeking a Web & Systems Developer to provide comprehensive design, administration, and continuous enhancement of USAFCOEFS internal and external websites, portals, and digital assets (WPDAP) at Fort Sill, OK. This position plays a critical role in delivering secure, scalable, and user-focused web and data solutions aligned with Command vision and mission objectives. The selected candidate will support web technologies, data management, automation, AI-driven tools, and knowledge management systems in a structured DoD environment. This role offers the opportunity to modernize and enhance mission-critical digital platforms supporting Army leadership and operational units. You will directly influence knowledge-sharing environments, data-driven decision-making, and secure digital transformation initiatives in a high-visibility government setting. Candidates must be eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Platform Development & Administration
- Design, develop, and maintain internal and external websites and web-based services.
- Engineer media sites to ensure consistency across domains.
- Perform full SharePoint administration (sites, permissions, lists, libraries, forms, web parts, templates).
- Develop and maintain workflows approved by the COR.
- Design and implement DOD-compliant links in accordance with Army G-6 standards.
- Ensure Section 508 and EIT Accessibility compliance.
Microsoft 365 & Power Platform Solutions
- Develop and manage solutions using:
- Microsoft 365 Application Suite
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power BI
- Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Integrate commercial and Government off-the-shelf software solutions.
- Support workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions.
Data & Visualization
- Manage data platforms and visualization tools including:
- Develop minor web-based applications and interfaces.
- Enhance the Web-based Knowledge Environment (WBKE).
Strategic & Advisory Support
- Provide technical guidance to the FCoE Chief Knowledge Officer.
- Support long- and short-range digital strategy planning.
- Identify opportunities to modernize and enhance web properties.
- Provide design and implementation feedback to leadership and content owners.
Content & Media Development
- Develop blogs, RSS/news feeds, audio/video integrations, and social networking API integrations.
- Create and edit digital and print assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom).
- Coordinate with business content owners to draft and publish final content.
- Perform website audits to ensure regulatory compliance and content relevance.
Customer Support & Service Delivery
- Serve as primary point of contact for web capabilities.
- Provide troubleshooting and support to USAFCOEFS, tenant units, Garrison, DENTAC, and MEDDAC.
- Respond to routine service requests within four (4) hours.
- Complete routine work within eight (8) hours or coordinate extended timelines with COR.
- Maintain daily work logs and provide monthly COR reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise web platforms in a structured environment.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
- Experience administering SharePoint environments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, information assurance, and DoD compliance requirements.
- Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with leadership, content owners, and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or Army environments.
- CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools and automation.
- Familiarity with Section 508 compliance requirements.
- Experience integrating APIs and web services.
