Job Type: Long Term Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Interconnection Engineer with strong expertise in Power Systems and Renewable Energy to manage interconnection engineering activities across assigned ISO regions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of interconnection processes, regulatory standards, and contract management within the power generation and transmission domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end interconnection process from application through Commercial Operation Date (COD).
• Review and analyze Purchase Power Agreements (PPA) and Interconnection Agreements (IA).
• Assess engineering and scheduling impacts of contractual requirements and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, construction, commissioning) and external entities (Transmission Owners (TO), ISOs, PPA clients).
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and interconnection queue positions.
• Monitor changes in ISO requirements and interconnection processes.
• Ensure compliance with design, performance, telemetry, back-feed, and synchronization requirements.
• Support joint testing activities and act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.
• Provide weekly and monthly status reports on interconnection progress and risks.

Required Qualifications:

• 11 15 years of experience in Power Systems / Renewable Energy domain
• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred) or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO tariffs and interconnection processes
• Experience with CAISO and ERCOT markets
• Familiarity with NERC and FERC standards
• Experience reviewing and managing PPA and IA contracts
• Strong contract interpretation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SCADA systems
• Understanding of electrical metering systems and concepts
• Prior experience working with Transmission Owners and Operators

Nice to Have:

• Experience working across multiple ISO regions
• Strong understanding of grid interconnection lifecycle and renewable project execution
